New Covenant Church in Haifa  Baptism Service -- a few months ago we had a wonderful baptism service at the Jordan River. 24 people from our church were baptized. Malachi 4.6 begins “He will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to the fathers...” One 84 year old man and his wife who were baptized that day had persecuted their children for years for being believers. God has drawn them to Himself and they chose to publicly show their commitment. In our culture the fathers usually baptize the children. But now the children are baptizing their fathers. Three teenaged brothers also were baptized together that day. God is touching the youth and they are responding by giving their hearts completely to Jesus! Click on the photos page to see photos of our baptism service. Summer Church Conference -- We gathered in Jericho for a wonderful time of worship and fellowship together with another Arab church. There, in the lowest place on the surface of the earth, praises were lifted high to God. Individuals who have been attending our church alone brought their families. Many came skeptical or guarded about relationship with Jesus. They were touched individually, made commitments to Jesus, and now are seeking God together as families: spouses, children and parents, together. New Building Update -- Please continue to pray with us regarding the purchase of a building for our church. We are looking at some buildings now.
